General Manager Position

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven General Manager to lead the Marriott Jeddah Madinah Road property. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, exceptional operational expertise, and a deep understanding of the Middle Eastern hospitality market.

The General Manager will be responsible for overall hotel performance, guest satisfaction, financial results, and brand compliance while driving a high-performance culture aligned with Marriott's core values.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic direction and hands-on leadership across all hotel operations
  • Foster a culture of excellence, accountability, and team engagement
  • Act as the primary ambassador of the Marriott brand within the local market
  • Drive alignment with Marriott International standards and brand expectations
  • Oversee all departments including Rooms, F&B, Engineering, Sales & Marketing, and Finance
  • Ensure exceptional guest service delivery and consistently high guest satisfaction scores
  • Maintain compliance with local regulations, health & safety requirements
  • Develop and execute annual budgets, forecasts, and business plans
  • Drive revenue growth, GOP improvement, and cost management initiatives
  • Analyze market trends and competitor performance to maximize profitability
  • Lead commercial strategy in partnership with Sales & Marketing teams
  • Strengthen relationships with key corporate accounts, government entities, and travel partners
  • Identify new revenue streams and market opportunities
  • Build, mentor, and retain a high-performing leadership team
  • Promote talent development, succession planning, and Marriott culture
  • Ensure employee engagement and a positive work environment
Qualifications & Experience
  • Minimum 5+ years' experience as a General Manager in a branded hotel environment
  • Mandatory Middle East experience, with strong understanding of regional market dynamics
  • Proven track record in delivering financial results and operational excellence
  • Strong leadership and team development capabilities
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Experience with Marriott systems and brand standards is highly preferred
