Our client, a leading manufacturing organization specializing in precision tools, is seeking a Machine Operator to join their team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, safety consciousness, and effective communication skills, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Machine Operator
Location: Orange, VA
Pay Range: $17.37 - $18.37
Shift: First Shift (7a-3p) Second shift (3p-11p) and third shift (11p-7a)
What's the Job?
- Operate conventional and CNC production machines such as winders, milling machines, drill presses, broaches, lathes, saws, grinders, and welders
- Sand, deburr, and perform necessary finishing tasks to ensure quality standards are met
- Understand material hardness, cutting tools, speeds and feeds, coolant requirements, and machining techniques
- Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to safety protocols and procedures
- Collaborate with team members to achieve optimal production performance
What's Needed?
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience as a CNC Machinist or in a similar manufacturing role
- Familiarity with various CNC machines and controls
- Solid understanding of CNC programming and machining techniques
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and follow safety guidelines
