Job Title:

Raw Material Handler

• Work closely with the quality group, extrusion process engineer, and raw material group to coordinate the activities of incoming and outbound raw materials, rework and scrap.
• Perform sampling and testing on raw materials in bags and boxes for E29 and document them. If any anomaly is found in raw materials, report to the extrusion process engineer immediately.
• Responsible for maintaining housekeeping and 5S sustainment of docks, the E29 raw material storage area, and warehouse.
• Move raw materials, rework, and scrap to designated staging areas.
• Unload raw material bags and boxes from the truck trailers to designated staging areas. Check the condition of every bag and box for damages.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Process Goods Receipts of inbound raw material railcars.
• Plan and communicate railcar switch instructions with Railroad on inbound (full) and outbound (empty) cars to include specific spotting locations on kpA track siding.
• Plan and manage silo inventory levels and resin requirements and communicate railcar pumping instructions to Raw Materials personnel.
• Update inventory in SAP on railcar movements and silo transfers to maintain accurate inventory records.
• Prepare Daily Silo Report for Operations and Inventory Control personnel.
• Review and process raw material consumption messages from Mixing Shop Floor system through final posting in SAP system including PP Prods for batch drum processing.
• Oversee and support raw material and rework consumption activities at other plants.
• Coordinate periodic Physical Inventory and cycle counts of raw materials.
• Utilizes appropriate material planning tools in SAP, Shop Floor and Microsoft Excel.
• Initiate Purchase Requisition s or Purchase Orders for raw materials as required based on replenishment planning decisions.
• Provide inventory related reports to Management Team or other groups as needed.
