Refrigeration Subassembly Brazer

Compensation

Compensation Range: $21.41

• Responsible for making and installing refrigeration & water subassembly assemblies for production products.
• Cutting, bending, and brazing copper tubing to create subassemblies, including installation of refrigeration specialty components.
• Make subassemblies using Viega Pro Press fittings and tooling as trained.
• Work from production schedules, bills of material (BOM), drawings, diagrams, and engineering change notifications to identify, validate, and inspect components and subassemblies.
• Notify supervisor or cell leader of any material discrepancies.
• Make and/or install pre‑assembled piping, prep, installation, brazing, pressure testing, evacuation, and charging.
• Install required labels for electrical components and verify proper electrical operation of the HVAC unit after wiring.
• Clean unit and work area; record time per unit.
• Maintain a safe, organized work area and notify team leader of equipment or documentation issues.
• Assist with any factory operations required to maintain workflow and meet schedules and quality requirements.
• Assemble sheet metal parts and components using hand and power tools.
• Install electrical, gas, and air‑conditioning equipment.
• Operate consistently with all safety rules and requirements.
• Participate in meetings and work groups to integrate activities, assist with training new employees, communicate issues, obtain approvals, resolve problems, and maintain knowledge of new developments, requirements, and policies.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

• Gauges, hand tools, hand power tools, and crane.

• Occasional lifting up to 75 lbs.
• Frequent standing, walking, bending, crouching, kneeling, climbing, maneuvering, stooping, squatting, grasping, and reaching.
• Visual and aural acuity required.

Listening Training Requirements:
Munters Orientation, Quality Assurance, and Safety Awareness.

Standard work schedules plus overtime and weekend hours required to meet production demands.
