Job SummaryUnder direct supervision, the Technical Facilities Technician I is responsible for executing and documenting activities related to the maintenance of facilities. This role provides support to electrical, mechanical, and electro-mechanical systems, ensuring proper operation, compliance with safety standards, and operational efficiency.
Shift: Day 4 x 3 Sunday - Wednesday 6:00 a.m.
- 6:00 p.m.
- Execute and document repairs and preventive maintenance of infrastructure and facilities equipment.
- Configure, adjust, and operate facilities equipment and systems.
- Diagnose and solve basic faults in electrical, mechanical, and/or hydraulic systems, following established procedures.
- Perform self-inspections to ensure quality and compliance of work executed.
- Comply with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) in all tasks.
- Maintain the work area clean, orderly, and safe.
- Complete all required safety and environmental training.
- Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) policies and regulations.
- Provide support and accompaniment to contractors, when required.
- High School Diploma.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role.
- Technical in Electricity, Mechanics, or Electromechanics desirable.
- Basic computer skills, including:
- Word Processing
- Spreadsheets
- Ability to read and understand technical documentation.
- Good command of the Spanish language (reading, writing, and communication).
- Willingness to learn and comply with GMP standards (Good Manufacturing Practices).
- Ability to interpret:
- Safety regulations
- Operation and maintenance instructions
- Procedure manuals
- Ability to write basic reports and simple communications.
- Basic mathematical skills, including:
- Percentages
- Proportions
- Calculation of areas and volumes
