ACE Operations Supervisor

Job Summary (Purpose):

The ACE Operations Supervisor is a supervisory role that manages staff in the processing of 20 lb. grill cylinders. Responsibilities include leading safety meetings, tailgate meetings, and all activities related to safely operating the facility.

• Involved in all aspects of production to include sorting, inspecting, cleaning, labeling, and refilling empty cylinders.
• Ensure safety compliance and that all employees are wearing proper PPE.
• Ensure employees are properly handling and filling cylinders.
• Ensure consistent quality of cylinders being processed.
• Track and report cylinder inventory.
• Oversee and manage staff and temporary employees to achieve production targets and goals.
• Report daily work records for temporary workers.
• Hold safety meetings and tailgate meetings and promote a safe work environment.
• Manage inventory of supplies needed to produce cylinders.
• Run a preventive maintenance program on all equipment to keep it in good working order.
• Do paperwork on all loads shipped from the facility.
• Train new employees as required.
• Other duties assigned by management.

• Must have a strong safety focus.

• Mechanically inclined.
• Able to perform physical lifting of cylinders up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment.

• High School graduate.
• 1 to 2 years supervisory experience in a manufacturing industry or a related industry.
• Forklift certification is a plus.

• Will be required to work primarily outside in any type of weather condition.

The pay for this position ranges from to , depending on circumstances including an applicant’s skills and qualifications, certain degrees and certifications, prior job experience, market data, and other relevant factors. Additional compensation may include eligibility to earn a performance‑based bonus or commissions on completed sales depending on position.
