Position SummaryThis individual will assist the Supervisor in the successful operation of the Department, assuming the Supervisor’s responsibilities in his/her absence as needed. The person will be responsible for monitoring employees, HACCP, SSOP’s, and other responsibilities as assigned. The role includes helping with the Embrex process from the AM cycle/setup, processing the entire set of eggs, and handling the PM cycle/cleanup. The individual must be able to push/pull 450 lb.

High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.
Qualifications- Comfortable working in hot, wet, and dusty areas; proper PPE required.
- Ability to push/pull 450 lb. buggies and lift 100 lbs.
- Excellent work, safety, and attendance record.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to work weekends and holidays as required.
- Ability to read and write English.
- Willingness to learn and perform all jobs within the hatchery.
- Knowledge of hatchery equipment and operations.
- Bilingual preferred.
- Schedule:
Monday‑Friday with some weekend work required. - Benefits:
