Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, Thursday 9:00 pm-6:00 am

This individual will assist the Supervisor in the successful operation of the Department, assuming the Supervisor's responsibilities in his/her absence as needed. The individual will be responsible for monitoring employees, HACCP, SSOPs, and other responsibilities as assigned. The person will help with the Embrex process from the AM cycle/setup, processing of the entire set of eggs, and the PM cycle/cleanup. Must be able to push/pull 450 lb.

High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.

• Must be comfortable working in areas that are hot, wet, and dusty; proper PPE required.
• Must be able to push/pull 450 lb. buggies of chicks and eggs (buggies are on wheels) and lift 100 lbs.
• Excellent work, safety and attendance record.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
• Must be able to work weekends and holidays as required.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
• Ability to work closely and lead other team members.
• Knowledge of all hatchery equipment and hatchery operations.
• Must be able to read and write English.
• Must be able, or willing to learn, to perform all jobs within the hatchery.
• Bilingual preferred.

• Schedule:
  
  Monday-Friday with some weekend work required.
