Operations Manager

Responsibilities

• Directs and coordinates activities of operational production department(s) in processing materials or manufacturing products.
• Design, coordinate, & directs activities of the plant towards exceeding of established goals.
• Review and analyze various reports and evaluate all production personnel.
• Establish and enforce all safety measures and ensure compliance.
• Ensure all production goals are met and coordinate production activities accordingly.
• Confer with customers and representatives of associated industries to enhance services.
• Develop plans for efficient use of materials and personnel.
• Review production costs and product quality to maintain profitable operations.
• Manage the overall functionality of all plant production equipment.
• Initiate employee development for success.

• 5-10 years of management / supervisory experience in manufacturing environment
• Demonstrated knowledge of and experience in plastics manufacturing with operational focus on extrusion, slitting, and calender line operations
• Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, or similar
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
• Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization
• Position requires fluency in English
