Northrop Grumman's Space Sector is seeking a Production Test Master Technician - Level 4 to join our team in Dulles, VA. This position is 100% onsite and cannot accommodate telecommute work. This position will be performing day-to-day work in Component Test Lab (CTL) work center. This position will work a 9/80 schedule, with every other Friday off. Test campaigns may require 12-hour shift work.

In this job, you will:
* Operate electronic ground support equipment (EGSE) Test racks by mating/demate cables for Avionics & box level testing, performs checkout pre and post-use inspections, data gathering and other requirements as necessary.

* Sets up test apparatus and conducts tests for Avionic assemblies (CCA's) & Circuit card boxes by following methods, procedures, standards, and sequences.

* Lays out and assembles units for production equipment according to designs and specifications. Adjusts and calibrate systems as needed.

* Uses hand and small power tools, and various measuring and testing devices in performing job duties. May monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures.

* Test, troubleshooting, removal, installation, modification, and maintenance of Avionics Boxes & circuit card Assemblies with collaboration & support from Test Engineering group.

* Must be able to read and interpret schematics, engineering drawings, and written or verbal instructions to fabricate and assemble necessary fixtures and/or components.

* Other responsibilities include:
Conducting tests and reporting data in the prescribed format, using predetermined methods, sequences, and setups to inspect or test specific equipment or products.

* Must be willing to work a flexible work schedule that may include extended shifts, holidays, and weekends as required

Basic Qualifications:

* High School diploma or equivalent and 6 years additional education and/or related experience.

* Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Secret security clearance

* Ability to lift 30lbs.

* Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook), Teams chat.

* Applicant must be flexible in types of work assignments.

Preferred Qualifications:

* Experience in military or aerospace test, manufacturing, or depot environments.

* Active Secret clearance with investigation closeout within the last 3 years.

* Developmental or Operational test experience.

* Mix of back shop and flightline maintenance experience.

Northrop Grumman Total Rewards Primary Level Salary Range: $86,300.00 - $ The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.

Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
