Machine Operator

Location: Rocky Mount

Ameri Staff, Inc. is currently seeking an experienced Machine Operator to fill openings with a manufacturing company located in Rocky Mount, VA. We are looking for individuals who are mechanically inclined but also comfortable working with production data and documentation.

Benefits of the General Machine Operator:

• Full time.
• Monday-Friday.
• 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM. (occasional overtime until 5:00 PM)
• $15 per hour.

Responsibilities of the General Machine Operator:

• Measure completed work pieces to verify conformance to specifications.
• Examine completed products for defects, such as chipped edges or marred surfaces and sort defective pieces according to types of flaws.
• Read work orders or production schedules to determine specifications.
• Load plastic material into machines.
• Clean and lubricate machines.

Qualifications of the Machine Operator:

• Previous machine operator experience
• Experience working with data, spreadsheets, and Microsoft Excel
