Salary Range: $18.00 To $19.00 Hourly
Machine Helper 2nd shift but must be able to train on 1st shift.

The Machine Helper plays a critical role in supporting the manufacturing process within the non-durable goods sector by ensuring that machinery operates efficiently and safely. This position involves assisting machine operators with setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting to minimize downtime and maintain production flow. The Machine Helper contributes to quality control by monitoring equipment performance and reporting any irregularities or malfunctions promptly.
This role requires close collaboration with the production team to meet daily output targets while adhering to safety and operational standards. Ultimately, the Machine Helper helps sustain a productive manufacturing environment that supports the timely delivery of high-quality non-durable goods.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to follow technical instructions.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting and moving materials.
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Commitment to following safety guidelines and procedures.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Familiarity with durable goods manufacturing processes.
- Basic knowledge of machine operation and maintenance.
- Ability to read and interpret simple technical documents or manuals.
Responsibilities:
- Assist machine operators in setting up and adjusting machinery for production runs.
- Monitor machine operations to detect and report any issues or malfunctions.
- Perform routine cleaning and maintenance tasks to ensure equipment is in good working condition.
- Load raw materials and remove finished products from machines as required.
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding production status and equipment needs.
- Support quality control efforts by observing product output and reporting defects.
