Palletizing Associate – Job Description

Palletizing Associate

Job Summary:

The Palletizing Associate is responsible for stacking, organizing, and preparing finished poultry products onto pallets for shipment. This role ensures products are palletized accurately, safely, and efficiently while maintaining production standards and food safety requirements.

• Stack finished poultry products onto pallets according to company specifications.
• Build stable and organized pallets for shipping.
• Wrap and secure pallets using stretch wrap or other materials.
• Verify product counts, labels, and pallet configurations.
• Move pallets using pallet jacks or other material handling equipment (as authorized).
• Inspect products for damage before palletizing.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Follow all food safety, quality assurance, and OSHA safety procedures.
• Meet daily production and productivity goals.
• Assist with other warehouse or production duties as assigned.

• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs repeatedly.
• Ability to stand, bend, lift, and twist throughout the shift.
• Comfortable working in a cold/refrigerated production environment.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to work overtime and weekends as needed.

• Previous warehouse, production, or palletizing experience preferred.
• Experience using pallet jacks is a plus.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
