This position is available in Rocky Mount, NC
The exact worksite location will be selected based on business requirements and the candidate’s relevant experience and qualifications.
The hourly base range for this position is $18-$22/hr please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Honeywell Aerospace considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations
ResponsibilitiesIn this role, you will impact the efficiency and effectiveness of our manufacturing processes by assembling and testing mechanical components and systems. Your ability to follow assembly instructions and perform quality checks will ensure that our products meet the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities- Assemble mechanical components and systems according to assembly instructions.
- Perform quality checks to ensure the accuracy and reliability of assembled products.
- Troubleshoot and resolve assembly issues.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow all safety guidelines and protocols.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Be a US Person.
- Be enrolled in an aligned Career & Technical Education (CTE) program within a North Carolina school.
- Be on track to earn a High School Diploma from a North Carolina school during the 2026-27 school year.
- Basic knowledge of mechanical components and systems.
- Ability to read and interpret assembly instructions.
- Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.
- Proficient computer skills
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Self-motivated & responsible
- Good communication skills
- Ability to set priorities
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Competency in drawing print reviews
