We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accountant. The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in accounting principles, hands‑on experience in Accounts Payable or Accounts Receivable, and exposure to general ledger activities, financial reporting, and basic analysis. This role requires a high level of accuracy, organization, and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.

• Process and support Accounts Payable and/or Accounts Receivable functions
• Prepare and post journal entries to the general ledger
• Assist with month‑end and year‑end close processes
• Support preparation reports and account reconciliations
• Perform basic financial analysis and investigate discrepancies
• Maintain accurate and organized financial records
• Communicate with internal teams and external vendors/customers to resolve issues
• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards

• This position anticipates mostly standard hours, with some variability based on surge requirements.
• This position is expected to perform work on‑site at the Ashburn headquarters with some telework possible.

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field, preferred.

• 2+ years of accounting experience (AP, AR, GL or similar roles)
• Strong understanding of debits, credits, and general accounting principles
• Exposure to general ledger accounting and financial reporting
  
  High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities
• Good customer service and communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems, Unanet and Concur preferred
• Eagerness to learn, grow, and take on new responsibilities

• Analytical mindset with problem‑solving abilities
• Team‑oriented with a proactive attitude
• Ability to adapt in a fast‑paced work environment
