Senior Accountant

Responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting activities, including vendor payments, customer invoicing, expense reports, bank reconciliations, and journal entries.
• Maintain the general ledger and ensure transactions are recorded accurately and on time.
• Support month-end and year-end closing, including accruals, prepaids, fixed assets, and account reconciliations.
• Assist with revenue and cost accounting across software, hardware, and services.
• Prepare supporting schedules and documentation for audits, tax filings, and internal reporting.
• Partner with operations and other teams to ensure expenses, invoices, and contracts are reflected correctly in the books.
• Help improve accounting processes, controls, and documentation as the company grows and adds complexity.
• Monitor cash activity and support basic cash flow tracking and reporting. Assist third party tax and other compliance vendors and functions with documentation and detail to facilitate compliance with all regulations and laws.
• Assist the Company with payroll and compliance with payroll taxes in multiple jurisdictions.

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting and CPA preferred.
• 2–5+ years of accounting experience; startup, tech, telecom, or SaaS experience preferred.
• Understanding of US GAAP required and prior experience with IFRS preferred
• Proficiency with modern accounting systems and strong Excel or Google Sheets skills.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and follow-through.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment.
• International accounting exposure—especially supporting India and/or UK entities or teams is a strong plus.
