Under the supervision of the Quality Assurance Supervisor, the Student Intern will assist the Customer Service Support team with customer service-related documentation, including cheat sheets, training documents, and procedure manuals. The Student Intern will also be responsible for assisting with unskilled manual tasks and various other duties as assigned, receiving practical guidance on the inner workings of the Customer Service department.
Responsibilities- Assist in reviewing and assessing existing customer service documentation to identify gaps, inconsistencies, and areas for improvement.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for processing Tenant Authorization Forms (TAFs), including reviewing submissions, verifying property records, and ensuring compliance with Virginia Code requirements.
- Manage the end-to-end Tenant Account Initiation workflow, including SAP updates, document handling, and communication with property owners and tenants using standardized email templates.
- Maintain accurate records of accepted and rejected TAFs, ensuring timely follow-up and resolution of outstanding documentation issues.
- Collaborate with team members to enhance the clarity, accessibility, and usability of documentation.
- Participate in the implementation of a robust review and approval process for all materials, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project requirements.
- Assist with tracking project progress, updating project documentation, and communicating updates to stakeholders.
- Perform administrative tasks such as document processing and data clean up.
- Assist with ongoing team projects.
- Actively pursuing a degree in Business, Communication, or a related field.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to perform accurate mathematical computations.
- High attention to detail and ability to analyze information. Customer-centric mindset with a willingness to learn. Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word)
