We’re looking for a warm, energetic, and organized Dental Front Desk Receptionist to help ensure the smooth day-to-day operations of our practice. If you have a friendly personality, organization, a passion for patient care, and thrive in a fast-paced, team-focused environment, we’d love to meet you!
Responsibilities- Oversee daily office operations to ensure efficiency and a positive patient experience.
Manage patient scheduling, billing, and insurance claims.
- Supervise and support front desk and administrative staff.
- Maintain compliance with dental regulations, policies, and HIPAA guidelines.
- Handle financial transactions, including accounts receivable and payable.
- Coordinate with dentists and clinical staff to optimize workflow.
- Manage office inventory and supplies.
- Address patient concerns and ensure excellent customer service.
- Manage our phone system—answering calls, transferring to the right team member, and taking clear, accurate messages.
- Schedule and confirm appointments while keeping the office calendar organized and up to date.
- Check patients in and out, ensuring all forms and records are completed accurately.
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail, emails, and other correspondence promptly.
- Assist patients with billing questions and insurance related inquiries.
- Maintain patient records with accuracy and confidentiality.
- Keep the reception area clean, organized, and welcoming at all times.
- Help with other administrative tasks to support the smooth operation of the practice.
- Creating Treatment Plans
- Verifying Insurance Eligibility
- Strong communication and customer service skills, especially over the phone.
- Prior experience as a dental office receptionist preferred.
- Proficient with VOIP phone systems.
- Excellent time management and multitasking abilities.
- High attention to detail for accurate scheduling and recordkeeping.
- Ability to work independently while being a supportive team player.
- 5 years previous experience in the dental field
- Knowledge of dental codes and procedures
- Knowledge of dental billing, insurance processing, and scheduling
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and general office technology.
- Ability to multitask and maintain a professional, organized workspace.
