Northrop Grumman is seeking an Executive Assistant to support Space Superiority Division. This position will report directly to the Vice President General Manager, Space Superiority Division, while also providing support to other senior executive team members as needed.

This is more than a traditional Executive Assistant role. You will contribute to an organization enabling critical space missions and next‑generation capabilities, including work in support of national security priorities. The role involves interacting with senior leaders and engaging with high‑visibility stakeholders, including government and customer partners, in an environment that is shaping the next frontier in space.
This position will require onsite work at our Headquarters in Dulles, VA.
The Executive Assistant communicates with enterprise‑wide partners, executives, administrative and line management employees. This position requires the individual to perform advanced administrative duties with exposure to sensitive information necessitating tact, diplomacy, discretion, and judgment. Strong project management skills, emotional intelligence, and integrity are essential for this position. In addition, the candidate must be comfortable working in a high energy, collaborative, fast paced, professional environment.
The ideal candidate is team‑oriented, collaborates effectively with other professionals, and demonstrates agility and a desire to adapt to changing demands and evolving tools/technologies. They bring proven experience operating in and around SCIFs, consistently upholding security protocols, professionalism, and strict discretion, and excel at managing calendars, meetings, and access logistics in secure environments. The candidate will show the capability to take on new and unfamiliar tasks and a strong interest in playing a significant role as a member of the leadership team.
Advanced proficiency in multitasking and managing priorities for senior leadership team members is required, including coordinating time‑sensitive activities and communications within secure facilities.
This position is pivotal to the success of the organization and the successful candidate will demonstrate how they have supported their prior teams through organization, self‑motivation, and task ownership skills, with the ability to accomplish duties in a high‑impact, time‑sensitive environment. This position may require occasional nonstandard work hours in support of business schedules and special events.
Basic Qualifications:
High school diploma and a minimum of six years additional education and/or experience in the administrative professional field or a bachelor’s degree with two years' experience in the administrative professional field.
