Registrar - Extended Day Enrichment Program
Full-time, 12 months/year. Starting immediately.

Support the Extended Day Enrichment Program by providing detailed financial oversight, budget preparation, and accounting services. Maintain student information systems, oversee billing and accounts receivable, and provide customer support.
Essential Functions- Administer all accounting functions, including purchase orders, ledger balancing, and county books.
- Develop and present financial statements and revenue projections to the Director or Coordinator.
- Assist with budget preparation and submit monthly/quarterly/yearly reports.
- Administer accounts receivable: bill agencies and individuals, track delinquent payments, deposit funds, and reconcile accounts.
- Provide customer service to school division staff and the public regarding accounts and billing.
- Oversee the EDEP student information system/database: registration, billing, attendance, suspensions, fees, scholarships.
- Provide manual billing, tax statements, and receipts as needed.
- Handle customer/parent contact via phone and walk-ins.
- Attend meetings and type correspondence independently.
- Train users on the EDEP database and coordinate administrative procedures.
- Troubleshoot problems, verify data entry, and meet reporting deadlines.
- Participate in division‑wide training and work with technology staff to ensure database operation.
- Prepare reports for administrators to support budget purposes.
Skills and Abilities
Strong bookkeeping knowledge, ability to maintain financial records, prepare reports, and perform accurate computations. Understand and follow complex oral/written instructions. Operate office equipment and Microsoft Office applications. Work independently, meet tight deadlines, communicate effectively orally and in writing, and develop budget estimates. Build working relationships with coworkers and the public.
Education and ExperienceCombination of education and experience equivalent to a two‑year college graduation. Comfortable using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Physical Conditions and Nature of WorkClerical tasks performed mostly while seated, occasional walking, lifting items up to 30 lbs. Frequent use of office equipment. Occasional after‑hours secretarial duties. Frequent contact with clients who may be confrontational; requires tact and diplomacy.
