Job Overview

The Richmond
- Chesterfield Campus of Bryant & Stratton College is currently seeking an Administrative Assistant for the Nursing department. This person will provide administrative support to the Dean of Nursing and the nursing faculty.

Responsibilities
  • Researching and analyzing statistical data.
  • Data entry.
  • Work closely with the Dean of Nursing, Associate Dean of Nursing, Program Directors, Clinical Coordinator, Simulation Coordinator, nursing faculty, and nursing student advisors to ensure student health requirements are current.
  • Maintain nursing student academic files.
  • Assist with tracking, collecting, and compiling data for various reports.
  • Assist with all campus functions and events such as student orientations, pinning, and graduation.
  • Organize departmental meetings, including taking and maintaining meeting minutes.
  • Organize faculty binder materials.
  • Maintain program calendar, communicate events and deadlines.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Associate degree or higher preferred.
  • 2-4 years of previous administrative and customer service experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret statistical data.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in written and oral form with a diverse group of students and peers.
  • Attention to detail and ability to multi‑task utilizing time‑management skills.
  • Availability to work various hours, including occasional evenings and weekends; peak registration periods may require additional availability.
