Position Overview

The Casual Events Office Assistant provides administrative and operational support for workshops, conferences, meetings, and special events. The role assists with event coordination, data entry, room bookings, communications, and on‑site event support while ensuring a professional and welcoming experience for clients, guests, and event participants.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and support events such as workshops, conferences, meetings, and special events.
  • Perform data entry and maintain event records.
  • Book rooms and manage logistical arrangements.
  • Communicate with clients, guests, and event participants.
  • Provide on‑site event support to ensure a smooth experience.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Preferred: 2+ years related experience in administration, customer service, or event support.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to provide courteous and professional service in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Outlook, Excel).
  • Approximately 20 hours per week with possibility of renewal.
