Role Overview
The Security Assistant will assist the assigned Government Division Chief and assigned team leader with various security administration duties to ensure the protection of classified national security information and Sensitive but Unclassified information within DOS facilities worldwide.
What You Will DoProvides support to the Department of State's programs established to protect classified national security information, provides administrative support for the Branch Chief, interfaces with personnel, drafts correspondence, develops and maintains databases, and prepares office files.

- Ability to follow database guidelines
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications
- U.S. Citizenship
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- One (1) year of specialized administrative experience
- Department of State experience (preferred)
- Knowledge of and ability to follow database guidelines
- Experience providing general administrative support
- Experience using database software
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications
