How You’ll Help Transform Healthcare

The Administrative Coordinator provides administrative, scheduling, and customer service support to the assigned Department, administrative staff, QM and clinical staff, ensuring quality, efficient, and cost‑effective services.

Responsibilities
  • Serve as a resource for leadership and other department members, providing direction, answering questions, and resolving concerns.
  • Facilitate payroll processes for staff using KRONOS, track vacation time, and enter hours into the time/attendance system.
  • Collaborate with payroll representatives, educators, and management to facilitate licensed clinical staff licensure and regulatory compliance.
  • Maintain databases and files, and effectively communicate with management and stakeholders.
  • Participate in project management activities, including coordination of processes or events, such as meeting rooms, catering, and appointments.
  • Provide technical support and utilize computer skills to create and maintain department records including databases, spreadsheet files, PowerPoint presentations, QM data, and graphs.
  • Collaborate with the data analyst on specialized projects to meet deadlines.
  • Compose and type correspondence and support the production of written materials such as agendas, minutes, and reports.
  • Prepare monthly reports and assist in maintaining contract files or other documents.
  • Keep files and reports confidential and handle difficult situations with tact and diplomacy.
Requirements
  • Associate degree or equivalent education.
  • Four years of experience in data collection and analysis and/or advanced secretarial support.
  • Two years of experience in data collection and analysis and/or advanced secretarial support (preferred in emergency services or physician practice).
  • Advanced computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, spreadsheets, PowerPoint, and database software.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
