APPLICATION LINKJOB DESCRIPTIONABOUT ADAM FOR CONGRESS
Adam Dunigan is a former Marine and ex-CIA Case Officer running in the Democratic Primary in Virginia's 8th Congressional District. Adam for Congress is seeking a versatile, politically savvy Special Assistant who will provide executive support to the Candidate and Campaign Leadership, captures field media content in Northern Virginia, partners with the Communications team on special campaigns and rapid-response projects, and supports the Campaign Manager with research for outreach and events.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Executive Support (30%): Manage calendars, travel, and briefings for the candidate and senior staff; prepare materials; triage inbox; coordinate cross-team workflows.
Field Content Capture (30%): Attend NOVA events to capture photos/video/B-roll; handle on-site logistics; produce post-event assets; ensure on-brand delivery.
Communications Projects (20%): Plan/execute special projects; draft memos, talking points, and press materials; maintain branding; track milestones; escalate risks.
Research and Outreach Support (20%): Conduct event research, outreach, and planning; prepare concise briefing materials; assist data gathering; summarize findings for quick decisions.
QUALIFICATIONS
1–4 years in executive support, project coordination, or campaign operations; political campaigns/public affairs preferred.
Excellent organizational and calendar management; strong written and verbal communication.
Google Workspace proficiency; familiarity with project management is a plus.
Ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced campaign; discretion with confidential information and campaign ethics.
Willingness to travel within Northern Virginia; flexible hours (evenings/weekends); valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Compensation: $4,000/month with negotiable benefits.
Start date: February 1, 2026
Location: Northern Virginia preferred; on-site for candidate events; some travel within NOVA required; hybrid options for non-field work.
Reporting structure: The Special Assistant reports directly to the Campaign Manager; works closely with the Candidate and Communications team.
