Job Description

The Operations Optimization Program Manager will support the critical deployment of strategic and special projects across U.S. laboratory operations. This role partners closely with laboratory leadership, operations, IT, and quality teams to drive execution, process optimization, and system adoption. The ideal candidate has a foundational understanding of Lean and continuous improvement principles, experience working with Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS), and strong program management and coordination skills.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Support the deployment of strategic, operational optimization, and special projects across multiple U.S. laboratory sites
  • Travel extensively (up to 50%) to laboratory locations to support on‑site project execution and implementation
  • Coordinate cross‑functional teams to ensure timely and effective project delivery
  • Apply basic Lean and continuous improvement concepts to support workflow optimization, throughput improvement, and process standardization
  • Partner with laboratory teams to analyse current processes and identify improvement opportunities
  • Support LIMS‑related initiatives, including implementation, optimisation, and user adoption, with a focus on TALS
  • Act as a liaison between laboratory operations, IT, and other stakeholders during system and process improvement initiatives
  • Track project milestones, risks, timelines and dependencies; prepare regular status updates for leadership
  • Support change management efforts, including communication, training material development and SOP updates
  • Assist in establishing scalable operational best practices across the laboratory network
  • Ensure alignment with Eurofins quality standards and regulatory requirements
  • Lead and support the deployment of high‑impact operational and optimisation projects across multiple U.S. laboratory sites
Qualifications Basic

Minimum Requirements
  • Education:

    GED or equivalent
Experience
  • Experience supporting or managing operational or cross‑functional projects
  • Professional working proficiency in English is a requirement, including the ability to read, write and speak in English
  • Ability to travel up to 50%
  • PMP, Lean management or Continuous Improvement certifications (a plus, not required)
  • Basic understanding of Lean and continuous improvement methodologies
  • Experience working with a LIMS system (hands‑on or project‑based experience)
Preferred Qualifications
  • Direct experience with TALS
  • Strong organisational, communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to work across multiple sites and adapt to a fast‑paced laboratory environment
  • Proficiency with standard business tools (Excel, PowerPoint, project tracking tools)
  • Experience supporting laboratory operations in a regulated environment
  • Exposure to Lean tools such as value‑stream mapping, 5S or Kaizen
  • Experience with system deployments, process standardisation or operational transformations
Additional Information

Position will be Monday‑Friday 9:00 AM‑5:00 PM, with overtime as needed.
