Business Development Manager

Reporting to:
Associate Strategic Network Distribution Director - Parfums Christian Dior

The purpose is to reform a strategic distribution network for dedicated region.

Job responsibilities
  • Understand and follow the brand distribution strategic goals.
  • Assist line manager to improve the distribution network for department stores, boutiques and airport channel.
  • Assist Line manager to improve brand’s market position and achieve financial growth.
  • To monitory market trends. keep seeking the good opportunity and potential project for brands in Key Cities.
  • Review current approach to business development and make changes where necessary.
  • Builds key Landlords relationships. Keep in touch with potential Landlords to establish rapport business relationship.
  • Negotiations with Landlords to achieve a profitable bargain, closes business deals and maintains extensive knowledge of current market conditions. Reporting on successes and areas needing adjustment or improvements while contract renewal OR renovations.
  • Monitoring ongoing project, handle the conflict or queries which in order to make sure the project go through smoothly and landing perfectly.
Key Competencies
  • Profound experience at retail network development.
  • Strong negotiation skill.
  • Quick learner, Ability to flourish with minimal guidance, be proactive, and handle uncertainty.
  • Able to keep the principle with the most flexibility.
  • To be trustworthy
Technical Skills
  • PowerPoint advanced skill for excellent presentation.
  • Affluent at both English and Chinese.
Profile
  • University graduate or above
KEY FIGURES /MEASUREMENT
  • Store # in line with 3-year strategic guideline (Open & Close & Renew).
  • Location:

    Secure prime location for brand visibility, image and traffic.
  • Cost optimizes:
    Engage landlords/ department stores to gain best deal at brand activation (Rental optimize, cost optimize &Renovation capex bear etc).
  • New door opening support HPP& OOH etc. Marketing resource support &External Storage, cabin for new door where is requested.
  • Team supportive.
