The GIS Analyst role involves researching and analyzing operational activities to help increase efficiency, reduce costs, improve customer service, and optimize overall operations by identifying more efficient ways to manage resources.

• Create, maintain, display and update GIS databases.
• Produce maps and other representations of data for public use.
• Ensure data accuracy with field work to resolve conflicts.

• Entry level. Experience in data analysis, ESRI ArcGIS, Microsoft.

• Applicant must have prior experience, or at least one year in a similar capacity.
• Experience with Microsoft Office 365 – Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Word.
• Familiarity with communication tools such as Slack or Teams.

Standard hours are from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. with a one‑hour unpaid lunch break. However, the COTR may request temporary services for periods in excess of a seven and one half (7.5) hour day or a thirty‑seven and one‑half hour (37.5) hour week. Temporary personnel working six (6) hours or more are required to take a one‑half hour unpaid lunch break. Overtime (hours worked in excess of 40 hours in one week) is considered overtime work and all overtime must be approved by the COTR in advance.
