Program Analyst TMT Coordinator – Journeyman Clearance:

    Location:

    5 days onsite at the Pentagon Nationwide IT Services (NIS) is currently staffing for a Program Analyst TMT Tasker, Journeyman to support SAF/AQX.
  • SAF/AQX serves as the Air Force’s focal point for integrated acquisition planning, execution, and oversight, providing expert advice to senior Department of the Air Force (DAF) leadership, the Service Acquisition Executive (SAE), Program Executive Officers (PEOs), and Program Managers (PMs).
  • The office supports programming, budgeting, acquisition reporting, and reform initiatives while overseeing critical Defense Industrial Base (DIB) activities, including Government‑Owned Contractor‑Operated (GOCO) facilities and Defense Production Act (DPA) efforts.
  • SAF/AQX also functions as the acquisition domain functional CIO, leading enterprise architecture, data strategy, and business systems that enable informed, synchronized decision‑making across the Air Force acquisition enterprise.
The tasks for this position include, but are not limited to:
  • Supporting HAF Service Acquisition Executive (SAE) oversight and decision‑making activities by coordinating task management tool (TMT) staff actions to support SAE.
  • Maintaining data repositories on network drives and monitoring organizational inboxes.
Providing organizational workflow management support via managing the TMT program, including the following:
  • Creating, reviewing, assigning, and closing tasks.
  • Monitoring deadlines, issuing follow‑up correspondence, and reviewing correspondence for accuracy.
  • Providing regular status of organizational workflow at staff meetings.
  • Act as a liaison to manage stakeholder expectations and coordinate communications.
  • Researching and analyzing trends, identifying issues, and recommending solutions.
  • Tracking and ensuring compliance with stated program direction and regulations.
  • Providing weekly or ad‑hoc and recurring reports to leadership.
  • Any other tasks closely associated with the performance of duties listed above and as coordinated with the COR.
Qualifications:
  • A Bachelor’s Degree in a discipline related to Business. At least 3 years of relevant experience in a System Program Office and/or Air Force Headquarters assisting the government staff with management of taskers and internal task management processes.
  • MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint.
  • Proficient in all computer‑based communication/office IT tools.
Ability to learn software packages used by the DAF including, but not limited to, the following:
  • Microsoft (MS) Office Suite – Word, Power Point, SharePoint, Excel, TEAMS;
    Adobe (both reader and Pro);
    Public speaking – capable of delivering briefs, speaking in meetings in person and online, and giving presentations.
Work Experience Substitutions:
  • 6 years of relevant work experience may be substituted for a BA/BS degree.
  • Associate degree plus 4 years of relevant work experience may be substituted for a BA/BS degree.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to move or traverse throughout a large, secure facility and between multiple work areas.
  • Ability to perform repetitive motions with hands, wrists and fingers.
  • Ability to sit for prolonged periods at a desk and work on a computer.
