We are seeking a Philanthropy Program Manager, Venture Council to spearhead the strategic direction of IJM's flagship principal donor engagement program.
Responsibilities- Drive strategic program decisions among multiple stakeholders.
- Lead end-to-end program management, ensuring excellence in recruitment, onboarding, and engagement experiences such as quarterly calls, working groups, and in-person events.
- Provide organized and professional oversight of all elements of program administration.
- Develop and execute a two-way engagement journey that offers executive-level experiences and leverages the skills, industry experience, and networks of sophisticated investors.
- Establish and manage the program budget.
- Establish and maintain strategic relationships with senior leaders to ensure consistent program quality, including collaboration with the Executive Office.
- Foster cross-departmental collaboration to ensure high-quality engagements and deliverables.
- Collaborate with fundraisers on recruitment and engagement to build a pipeline of sophisticated philanthropists, investors, and community builders.
- Incorporate revenue growth strategies into Venture Council strategies.
- Guide the preparation of communications to the Venture Council, including drafting communications on behalf of senior leaders.
- Engage directly with Venture Council members through warm, professional, and elevated communication.
- Facilitate project team meetings, including communication of decisions, action items, and follow-up.
- Manage internal communications to appropriate audiences.
- Prepare and facilitate stakeholder briefings, including speaker and leadership briefings.
- Ensure visibility of key program activities and information to all stakeholders via the Venture Council website, internal SharePoint, campaign reporting mechanisms, and other reporting channels.
- Input and manage Venture Council information in Salesforce.
- Manage Venture Council and Campaign Cabinet KPIs across internal systems.
- Participate in IJM’s community of spiritual formation.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in major donor fundraising, donor engagement strategies, program management, or related internal knowledge and experience.
- Proven ability to work with executive-level leaders and investors.
- Proven excellence in facilitating bespoke experiences and strategic donor communication.
- Superior written and communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Forms, PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
- Expertly using Zoom, Whats App, Teams, and other global communication platforms.
- Basic product management competencies.
- Salesforce and SharePoint proficiency preferred.
- Mature orthodox Christian faith as defined by the Apostles’ Creed.
