Job Summary

Content Creation Manager, Prayer Mobilization – responsible for the strategic development and operational execution of prayer‑based content and resources that support International Justice Mission’s mission. This role reports to the Chief Resources Officer and is hybrid in Washington, DC (onsite Tuesdays and Thursdays) or remote for eligible US‑based candidates.

Responsibilities
  • Enterprise Planning
    • Develop enterprise strategies and realistic plans to deepen and expand prayer support for the mission as part of the annual planning process.
    • Build budgets to achieve prayer mobilization strategies in collaboration with content contributors and end‑user leaders.
  • Global Prayer Gathering
    • Partner with program leaders to develop and refine messaging for the Global Prayer Gathering.
    • Review speaker presentations, facilitate rehearsals, and ensure alignment with the messaging framework.
    • Engage organizational leaders on participant recruitment and provide coaching for speakers throughout the event.
  • Spiritual Formation Resources
    • Conduct needs assessments across teams to identify opportunities for spiritual formation content.
    • Develop spiritual formation materials tailored to Christian audiences, leveraging internal resources.
    • Assist in the development of funding proposals that highlight IJM’s commitment to spiritual formation.
  • Prayer Content Pipeline
    • Assess teams on prayer content and develop plans to strengthen the pipeline.
    • Manage the Global Prayer Channel content pipeline on Viva Engage, streamlining collection from field teams.
    • Curate and distribute timely, externally shareable prayer content across communications, donor engagement, and major events.
  • Prayer Integration into Acquisition, Journeys, Product Development
    • Collaborate with Marketing, Digital, and Development teams to integrate prayer invitations into donor acquisition, constituent journeys, and Christian‑facing products.
    • Ensure prayer offers are clear, consistent, and aligned with IJM’s theological and missional framework.
  • Leveraging Prayer Networks
    • Cultivate and steward strategic external prayer network partnerships to expand and deepen prayer support.
    • Support co‑hosted prayer events and collaborative initiatives, including the Pray for Justice Tour with 24‑7 Prayer Network.
    • Curate content to strengthen engagement with prayer networks, creating mutual benefits for partners and IJM.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree; 5‑10 years of relevant experience.
  • Excellent writing and messaging framework development skills.
  • Preferred experience coaching speakers and co‑creating presentations.
  • Passion for prayer and spiritual formation demonstrated through professional or volunteer work.
  • Proven ability to work with diverse teams.
  • Track record of developing and refining scalable systems.
  • Project management or operational leadership expertise.
  • Strong networking capabilities with internal and external audiences.
