The YMCA of Greater Richmond is currently seeking enthusiastic part-time Counselors for our Before and/or After School Child Care programs in the Swift Creek area. Positions are available at Moseley Elementary, Winterpock Elementary, Spring Run Elementary, and Clover Hill Elementary.
Compensation for this role starts at $15.00–$16.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
Duties:
Responsibilities include supervising and engaging with a group of school age children and participating in group programs. Available hours weekdays from 7-9:30am and/or 3-6pm.
Qualifications:
- Applicants should have a minimum of six months of child care experience, preferably in a licensed facility.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Minimum age is 18.
The following certifications are highly desirable:
- CPR/AED Certification appropriate to age group
- First Aid Certification
