New opportunity with a rapidly growing energy‑infrastructure company seeking an Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Field Specialist to support safe and compliant operations across electrical construction projects nationwide.
This traveling field role (80%+ travel) combines site audits, coaching, and hands‑on engagement with project teams to strengthen safety culture and ensure alignment with regulatory and company standards.
What You’ll Be Doing:- Conduct on‑site safety audits and inspections at active electrical construction job sites
- Verify compliance with company policies, OSHA regulations, NFPA 70E, and other safety standards
- Identify hazards and provide corrective action guidance to site leadership
- Partner with project managers, supervisors, and subcontractors to implement EHS best practices
- Coach employees and apprentices on safe work habits and procedures
Assist with incident investigations, root‑cause analysis, and corrective actions - Prepare clear digital reports documenting audits, trends, and recommendations
- Capture and track safety observations using company software systems
- Support ongoing training programs and continuous improvement initiatives
- ASP designation or degree/certification in Environmental Health & Safety (preferred)
- 1-3 years of EHS experience in construction, electrical, or industrial environments (preferred)
- Strong understanding of OSHA, NFPA, and related safety standards
- Proficiency with documentation platforms (Microsoft Office, Procore, Smartsheet, etc.)
- Excellent communication, influence, and coaching skills
- Ability to travel extensively (80%+) and work independently
- Comfortable working outdoors in varied climates and active construction settings
- Valid driver’s license and ability to meet travel requirements
- Standing, walking, climbing ladders or structures during site visits
- Exposure to outdoor conditions, dust, and active construction areas
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Travel schedule: 10 days on / 4 days off
- OT eligible: Opportunity to work beyond 40 hours/week
- Must report when approaching OT thresholds
