MDU Project Manager

Our company is a boutique national telecommunications provider with over two decades of experience delivering managed Wi-Fi and broadband solutions to multi-family and student housing communities across the United States. Born in the Southeast and built on a culture of southern hospitality, we've grown from a regional operator into a recognized specialist in the MDU space — designing, deploying, and supporting the networks that residents depend on every day.

• Manage end-to-end delivery of MDU network deployments including FTTH/FTTB fiber buildouts, structured cabling, and in-building distribution systems across residential and mixed-use properties.
• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, scopes of work, and budgets; proactively identify risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Coordinate with property managers, HOAs, and building owners to obtain access agreements, permits, and approvals required for construction activity.
• Act as the primary point of contact for general contractors and subcontractors; conduct site walks, review installation quality, and enforce safety and compliance standards.
• Collaborate with engineering, design, and OSP teams to ensure construction drawings and as-built documentation are accurate and current.
• Track and report project KPIs (homes passed, homes connected, cost per unit) to leadership through weekly status updates and dashboards.

• 3–6 years of project management experience in telecom, broadband, or MDU deployments.
• Solid understanding of fiber optic infrastructure, coaxial plant, and structured cabling systems.
• Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects in fast-paced field environments.
• Strong knowledge of construction sequencing, permitting, and contractor coordination.
