Superintendent, Construction

KBS is seeking Commercial Construction Superintendents to manage onsite operations for commercial and multifamily construction projects ranging from $10M to $90M. The Superintendent is responsible for executing projects safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project schedules, budgets, and quality standards while maintaining strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and project partners.

• Manage all onsite construction activities to ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget and in accordance with contract documents
• Coordinate the daily activities of subcontractors, suppliers, inspectors, and vendors to maintain efficient project progress
• Monitor project schedules, identify potential delays, and implement solutions to maintain project milestones
• Conduct regular quality inspections to confirm compliance with project documents and high workmanship standards
• Enforce strict safety policies and OSHA requirements to maintain a safe jobsite
• Review drawings and specifications, communicating changes or clarifications to the field team
• Partner closely with the Project Manager on progress, costs, and risk management
• Maintain strong relationships with clients through consistent, professional communication
• Track progress, update schedules, and identify potential delays or issues

• Several years of commercial construction experience with a proven record of successfully managing commercial construction projects
• Experience managing projects up to $30M
• Strong knowledge of construction means, methods, techniques, and building codes
• Expertise in project planning, look-ahead scheduling, and budget awareness
• Strong problem-solving and decision‑making abilities with keen attention to detail
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and other technical documents
• OSHA certification and a commitment to maintaining a safe jobsite at all times
