Senior Scheduler – Data Centre Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Scheduler to join our dynamic team in the data centre sector. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful planning, scheduling, and execution of complex projects. This position requires a detail‑oriented professional with a strong background in scheduling tools, cost estimation, and project management software.
Responsibilities- Develop, maintain, and manage detailed project schedules for data centre construction and operations.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure alignment of schedules with project goals and timelines.
- Utilize scheduling tools such as Microsoft Projects, Accubid, and McCormick to create and update project plans.
- Perform cost estimation and resource allocation using tools like Bluebeam and other industry‑standard software.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential delays, and propose mitigation strategies to keep projects on track.
- Prepare and present scheduling reports, including critical path analysis, to stakeholders and leadership teams.
- Ensure compliance with project requirements, timelines, and budgets.
- Continuously improve scheduling processes and methodologies to enhance project efficiency.
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project scheduling, preferably in the data centre or construction industry.
- Proficiency in scheduling and project management tools such as Microsoft Projects, Accubid, McCormick, and Bluebeam.
- Strong understanding of cost estimation and resource allocation principles.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with cross‑functional teams and stakeholders.
- Certification in project management (e.g., PMP, PMI‑SP) is a plus.
