Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Project Manager role based in the Greater Augusta Area. The Project Manager will oversee all phases of construction projects, from pre-construction planning and estimating through project closeout. Day‑to‑day responsibilities include coordinating with owners, architects, engineers, and subcontractors; managing project schedules, budgets, and scopes; and leading subcontract and vendor buyout activities. The role involves monitoring field progress, supporting superintendents, reviewing inspections, and ensuring work meets quality, safety, and compliance standards.

The Project Manager will also handle documentation, including contracts, RFIs, submittals, change orders, and regular progress reports, while maintaining clear communication with clients as a primary point of contact.

Qualifications
  • Strong project delivery capabilities, including Project Management and experience coordinating construction activities from estimating through completion.
  • Experience in expediting and working as an expeditor to ensure timely delivery of materials, equipment, and documentation.
  • Knowledge of inspection processes and quality control standards for commercial or industrial construction projects.
  • Logistics management skills to coordinate vendors, subcontractors, deliveries, and site resources efficiently.
  • Proven ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contracts.
  • Familiarity with construction scheduling and project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, or similar tools).
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with a focus on client service and teamwork.
  • Demonstrated commitment to safety practices and regulatory compliance on active job sites.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Previous experience as a Project Manager or Project Engineer in commercial construction is highly beneficial.
