The Team You Are JoiningThe Delivery team manages construction lifecycle, scope, schedule, budget, and risk, from handoff to development and into commissioning and turnover to operations, delivering scalable data center solutions.
SummaryVice President of Delivery (Construction) leads execution of delivery strategy for construction projects, ensuring timely and budget‑conscious delivery that satisfies EHS regulations, while aligning with Ada’s objectives. Role includes people management, cross‑functional partnerships, and representation in executive engagements.
Responsibilities- Lead end-to-end delivery of the data center construction program, including tender/contractor selection, construction, power delivery, LLE purchase and delivery, commissioning, project turn‑over, and operations handover.
- Develop and manage resource allocation for a high‑performing delivery team comprised of internal and external members.
- Continuously refine delivery processes, governance, and controls for scalable execution.
- Ensure construction activities comply with EHS requirements, permitting, environmental management plans, and job hazard analysis.
- Champion a proactive safety culture, setting expectations and leading by example.
- Collaborate with Development, Design, and Project Controls to ensure constructability, cost certainty, and schedule integrity, identifying cost optimization and prefabrication opportunities.
- Own delivery‑related financial outcomes, including capital budgets, forecasting, variance analysis, PO/invoice review, and vendor onboarding.
- Support Sales with leasing pursuits, RFP responses, lease‑driven requirements, and delivery commitments.
- Report to executive leadership on project status, risks, opportunities, and performance metrics using P6 and Procore.
- Implement lessons learned and continuous improvement across project phases and campuses.
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management or related discipline.
- 10+ years delivering complex, capital‑intensive construction projects, with 5+ years in leadership/management.
- Experience leading large‑scale CSA and MEP‑intensive programs; data center or mission‑critical facilities experience required.
- Ability to manage distributed SME support teams.
- Commercial and financial acumen managing large capital budgets and contractual risk.
- Deep understanding of construction methods, sequencing, and delivery models.
- Ability to operate in fast‑paced, growth‑oriented environments.
- Strong executive presence and influence across functions and external partners.
- Full‑time onsite at Spotsylvania, Virginia (travel may be required).
Reports to Managing Director, Head of North America & CTO, Ada.
CompensationThe base salary range is not disclosed. Total compensation includes discretionary performance‑based bonus. Compensation will reflect qualifications and experience.
