Construction Manager

We are seeking an experienced Construction Manager to join a growing data center program in Dulles, Virginia
. This individual will serve as an Owner’s Representative
, providing construction oversight, technical leadership, and coordination throughout the delivery of large-scale, mission-critical data center projects.

The ideal candidate will have a strong combination of Construction Management, Electrical, Owner’s Representative, and Data Center experience
. This is an excellent opportunity for a construction professional who understands the complexities of mission-critical environments and has experience overseeing contractors, subcontractors, and major electrical systems.

• Provide day-to-day construction oversight as the Owner’s Representative
• Manage and coordinate General Contractors, subcontractors, vendors, and project stakeholders
• Monitor project schedule, quality, safety, cost, and overall construction progress
• Oversee electrical construction activities and ensure work aligns with project drawings, specifications, and applicable standards
• Coordinate installation of critical electrical infrastructure, including medium/high-voltage distribution, switch gear, transformers, generators, UPS systems, PDUs, and related equipment
• Lead and participate in construction meetings, progress reviews, inspections, and coordination meetings
• Review RFIs, submittals, change orders, and other construction documentation
• Identify project risks, construction issues, and schedule impacts and drive resolution
• Coordinate electrical, mechanical, and other MEP activities to ensure proper sequencing and integration
• Support commissioning, testing, turnover, and project closeout activities
• Maintain clear communication between the Owner, contractors, consultants, and internal project teams

• 5+ years of construction management experience, preferably on large-scale or mission-critical projects
• Strong electrical construction or engineering background
• Experience managing General Contractors and electrical subcontractors
• Strong understanding of construction schedules, quality control, safety, and project execution
• Experience with major electrical distribution and critical power systems
• Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced construction environment

Preferred:
Experience delivering hyperscale, colocation, or other large-scale data center facilities.
