This dynamic, historic and still growing ELCA congregation in the northern Shenandoah Valley is looking for a part-time Director of Music/Organist. The general responsibilities of this position include overseeing the entire music program of the congregation, leading music in worship for two liturgical services each Sunday, additional seasonal services, and directing the choirs. A 28‑rank, two‑manual Schantz organ; a grand piano;
five octaves of Schulmerich handbells; five octaves of Malmark choir chimes; and children’s percussion instruments are available for use. Candidates should have knowledge of Lutheran liturgy. Salary will be commensurate with experience and education. A background check is required.
