JOB PURPOSE
Transportation Insight is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Part‑Time Operations Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting daily operations, collaborating with cross‑functional teams, and ensuring the efficient execution of logistics services. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Order Processing- Assist in the processing and management of customer orders.
- Ensure accuracy in order entry and address any discrepancies.
- Coordinate and track shipments to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
- Communicate with carriers and internal teams to resolve any transportation issues.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date data in logistics and transportation management systems.
- Assist in the preparation and maintenance of shipping and operational documents.
- Provide support to customer service teams in addressing inquiries and resolving issues.
- Communicate with clients and internal stakeholders to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Assist in identifying and resolving operational issues and challenges.
- Collaborate with team members to implement corrective actions.
- Generate and compile basic operational reports as required.
- Contribute to the analysis of operational performance metrics.
- High school diploma or equivalent; some college coursework in logistics or a related field is a plus.
- Previous experience in logistics, operations, or customer service is desirable.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Availability to work part‑time hours as scheduled.

Saturdays and Sundays: 2 – 10 pm
TRAVELLocal travel is required. Out of state travel is limited, but may be required for special training/conferences.
