Hispanic Services Specialists serve as the Credit Union's primary contact for our Hispanic membership
, in person and on the phone, and are responsible for creating a welcoming environment and an exceptional impression by offering solutions that help them see banking differently!

This position is 100% in office, within our Roanoke office area.

• Providing 5-Star member service experiences using effective bilingual (Spanish/English) oral and written communication skills combined with strong influencing abilities
• Growing the Credit Union through the addition of new members and the expansion of existing member relationships using probing and interviewing skills
• Professionally responding to member inquiries by telephone and/or in person
• Accurately performing transactional and operational responsibilities through Eagle Vision
• Protecting the credit union against risk of loss by collecting delinquent, negative, and fraudulent accounts in a professional manner
• Becoming proficient in credit union regulations, policies, and procedures

Bilingual Team Members are eligible for differential pay fluency verification upon hire.

• High School diploma or GED equivalent required
• Professional verbal and written experience translating between Spanish & English
• Minimum of 1 year experience fostering customer engagement
• Past experience in roles requiring attention to detail and math skills
• Engaging personality with strong communication skills with the ability to influence others
• Demonstrated ability to communicate information clearly and professionally over the phone and through digital channels
• Exposure to a sales and service environment; employment experience in sales and service environment preferred
• Ability to be registered in the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry (NMLS)
• Functional experience with Google Applications:
