Position Summary
Seeking a Board Certified Medical Director of Trauma-Critical Care to lead a high-performing team specializing in trauma, acute care surgery, and surgical critical care, working alongside physicians and APPs. 510‑bed non‑profit teaching hospital, Level II trauma center, Epic EMR with AI enhancements.
Responsibilities- Attend meetings and lead process improvement initiatives.
- Manage staff scheduling and call.
- Enforce policies and procedures.
- Support team engagement.
- Provide overall program oversight.
- American board-certified in General Surgery with fellowship training in Trauma and Surgical Critical Care.
- Participate as a member of the clinical team while serving as Medical Director for the program.
- Leadership experience is required.
- Base salary of $525,000, plus production bonuses and quality incentives.
