Monday to Friday 10am - 1pm, plus 1 hour paperwork, 16 hours per week

We have an exciting opportunity for a Catering Manager to join our friendly school team at St Mary's.

We are looking to appoint a Catering Manager who has a passion for cooking and providing high quality meals. A self-motivated individual, who enjoys using their own initiative as well as working with others.

Working term time only, 16 hours a week, 10.00am to 1.00pm. plus one hour paperwork

Ideally you should have Level 3 Food safety Certificate, and have experience of working in a similar environment.

Successful applicants must possess:

• Good literacy and numeracy skills with GCSE Literacy and Numeracy grades A-C
• Be educated to NVQ Level 3 Food Safety or equivalent qualification or experience. Training will be provided if necessary.
• Can ensure the operational efficiency, planning preparation of food and beverages to the required standard within budget limitations as agreed with school management
• Have knowledge of national food standards and allergies
• Have good organisational and interpersonal skills
• Have the ability to work on your own initiative
• Ability to work calmly under pressure
• Be prepared to develop and learn in the role
• An ability to promote the school meal service with parents and children
