The Military Services Coordinator/VERITAS Liaison serves as the strategic and operational leader of Military Services at Reynolds Community College, with primary oversight of the Military Resource Center. This position is responsible for delivering comprehensive, student-centered academic and support services to current and prospective military-affiliated students, including active‑duty service members, veterans, reservists, and their spouses and dependents. The Coordinator supervises full-time and part-time personnel—including School Certifying Officials (SCOs) and student workers—while managing the daily operations of the Military Resource Center Campus and ensuring consistent service delivery across all college locations.
As the primary academic advisor and onboarding contact for military‑connected students, the Coordinator develops and implements holistic support strategies to promote recruitment, seamless onboarding, sustained academic engagement, and timely completion of educational goals. The role serves as a vital connector to institutional, local, state, and federal resources, helping students navigate the unique challenges associated with military life and higher education. The Coordinator leads outreach and recruitment efforts in collaboration with the Office of Admissions to build strong community relationships.
In addition to programmatic leadership, the Coordinator is responsible for student engagement efforts—including the Student Veterans Association and intentional programming—data management, program evaluation, and continuous improvement of services. Through integrated support services and outreach the Military Services Coordinator ensures that Reynolds Community College is a welcoming, and mission‑aligned institution that empowers military‑affiliated students to thrive academically and personally.
