EDEP Assistants support the Head Teacher and/or Teacher in an After‑School program. They assist with daily tasks, instruct students in preplanned activities, help with special events, maintain professional relationships with ASEP staff and school staff, exhibit positive public relations, uphold school rules, prepare and distribute snacks, and provide care for students in all EDEP venues (Student Holiday, Spring Break and Inclement Weather programs).
They participate in assigned EDEP programs, maintain a safe work environment, establish high standards of behavior, attend required training, exhibit dependable work habits, and perform related duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesAbility to develop and maintain an empathetic attitude toward disabled students; willingness to learn specialized instructional/management techniques employed with disabled students; ability to communicate and develop effective working relationships with students, parents, and staff. Must be a high school graduate or hold equivalence of a high school diploma and be willing to seek and maintain CPR certification.
Education and ExperienceAny combination of education and experience equivalent to graduation from high school, including basic keyboard and filing training. Training in Basic First Aid.
Physical Conditions and Nature of WorkDuties performed typically in school settings such as the cafeteria, gym, recreational areas and other assigned spaces; frequent walking, standing, lifting up to 40 pounds; occasional travel with students on field trips; frequent movement of students by wheelchairs and other mechanical devices may be required; occasional lifting of equipment such as audio‑visuals weighing up to 50 pounds; daily personal and close contact with children and ASEP staff members is required.
Job Requirements- Citizenship, residency or work visa required
USD 16.56 to 19.71 per hour.
