- Provide training and program support to the teaching laboratory of the Aviation Maintenance Technology program
- Assist the faculty in teaching designated content modules
- Supervise laboratory experiences
- Ensure laboratory safety
- Maintain program supplies and equipment
- Administer the departmental budget
- Assist with student recruiting and program marketing activities
- Carry out other aviation technology program-related functions as needed.

Minimum Qualifications- Demonstrated knowledge of all aircraft systems and equipment, including diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to effectively communicate with a wide variety of people, including faculty, staff, current and prospective students, and employers within the college service region
- Ability to organize and set appropriate priorities for the timely accomplishment of departmental tasks
- Computer literacy in word processing software; familiarity with the use of electronic mail, web-based resources, and the use of the Internet for educational purposes
- Demonstrated understanding of teaching strategies, especially those related to adult learners
- Valid driver’s license, full background check and driving record check are all required.
- Relevant education, experience, and/or training
- Relevant certifications, such as Federal Aviation Administration Certificate as a Mechanic with both Airframe and Powerplant ratings
