Zion Prospect Baptist Church (ZPBC), located in historic Yorktown, Virginia, is prayerfully seeking the shepherd whom God has chosen to become our Pastor. As Pastor, they will provide spiritual, pastoral, servant leadership, administrative, and outreach to our congregation and community. We are seeking a Pastor whose mission includes the education and growth of disciples (young and old), the increase in membership and ministries, and the extension of community
Church ProfileWhat began in 1896 as a church centered in a small rural community, our congregation, facilities and community involvement grew immensely until the years of COVID. We are recovering from the impact of lost membership. ZPBC has always been a place to belong, a place of solid Biblical teaching, and a place to fellowship and build authentic long-lasting relationships. Most importantly, ZPBC is a place to worship and praise our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
We are a church that loves to serve the Lord. We desire to make a difference in Yorktown and neighboring communities through witnessing, serving, and meeting the needs of our neighbors.
