Job DescriptionGermanna Community College is seeking a Part‑Time Test Proctor to administer a large number of academic and placement tests, including written, performance, and online assessments.
Responsibilities- Provide administrative support and correspond with test vendors, examinees, faculty, staff, and students.
- Generate daily reports, research student records, and enter data in Excel.
- Administer proctoring services for academic tests and placement tests.
- Deliver excellent customer service and refer to appropriate departments when needed.
- Ensure all computers are equipped with the appropriate software for each test.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
May be required to perform other duties as assigned. May be required to assist the agency or state government during an emergency declaration by the Governor.
Required Qualifications- Customer service experience in a high‑volume environment with an ability to handle stressful situations.
- Excellent organization and prioritization skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to learn applications quickly.
- Availability to work mornings, evenings, and Saturdays.
- Complete required certifications within 30 days of hire date.
- Experience working in a testing center.
- Experience in a post‑secondary educational environment.
- Knowledge of academic and placement testing.
- Knowledge of Canvas or other Learning Management Systems.
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
