Middle​/Upper School English Teacher

• Testimony of faith in and a dynamic relationship with Christ that draws children closer to God through example and discipleship
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in history or a related field
• Teaching experience in upper-level classes (preferred but not required)
• Teacher certification from ACSI or willingness to obtain
• Background check
• Effective classroom management that is conducive to a productive learning environment
• Preparation and execution of detailed lesson plans, including integrating a biblical worldview into all subjects taught
• Utilization of a variety of instructional methods in delivering course content and gauging student learning using multiple assessment methods
• Maintenance of records on the school management system (FACTS)
• Effective communication with students, parents, administration, faculty, and staff
• Adherence to and enforcement of school policies and practices; functioning as a team player

• Minimum Education:
  
  Bachelor’s Degree
• Statement of Faith:
  Interested candidates must provide a brief account of how and when they became a Christian and one’s experience as a Christian since that point.
